JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Business Development Manager (Industrial Kitchenware)
Target: B2B Customers
Salary: Basic up to USD 3000 USD 500 (transport). Salary will be in VND
Main Responsibilities
- Promote and communicate the benefits of cuttingedge kitchen technology through live culinary events.
- Expand the customer base by developing relationships within all food service and applicable commercial market segments.
- Develop and enhance a longterm partner and dealer network.
- Grow the customer base by building a network of consultants and designers for specification.
- Establish and maintain a strong referral network.
- Document customerrelated information and activities within the Customer Record Management system.
- Manage and grow territory volume by pursuing both identified and new opportunities.
- Preplan daily weekly and monthly activities execute the plan and follow up.
- Prepare monthly reports and forecasts and provide customer analysis.
- Develop and manage regional business plans and annual personal/regional budgets.
- Create and review business strategies with Directors documented in business and marketing plans to achieve growth targets.
- Participate in regional/national trade shows and business meetings.
- Monitor and report on issues affecting business competitive pressures and competitor activities.
- Coordinate and implement all business activities.
- Conduct pre and postsales activities for endusers including visits and training.
Practical Background
- Minimum of 5 years of business development experience with a proven track record of growth or food service operations/chef experience preferred; business development and/or marketing experience in the food industry is desirable.
- Associate/bachelors degree or equivalent work experience; culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills at all levels including good listening skills.
- Additional language competency in Bahasa or Cantonese is an advantage due to market requirements.
- Selfstarter detailoriented enthusiastic motivated and resultsoriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Problemsolving skills ability to overcome objections and influence others.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to negotiate leverage leads and close deals.
- Experience in setting budgets creating plans to meet budgets and executing those plans.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Valid drivers license.
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 30% of the time.
