We are looking for an HR Admin/Assistant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior HR Executive.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a leading contract catering company that provides a service to a wide range of businesses in the hospitality industry namely hotels care homes leading coffee shops and restaurants and is located in Qormi.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting in the recruitment processes.
- Assisting in the employee onboarding and offboarding processes and documentation.
- Maintaining employee files and databases.
- Acting as a reference point for employees queries and issues.
- Preparing the necessary documentation for the payroll department.
- Supporting in the coordination and organization of team activities for employees.
- Managing renewals of work permits employment contracts and end of probation / trial periods.
- Handling JobsPlus engagement / terminations and other related procedures and communication.
- Assisting in the coordination of training sessions.
- Keeping up to date with the latest HR trends and employment law.
- Supporting and assisting the Senior Human Resources Executive as required.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of local employment law and practices.
- Fluency in spoken and written Maltese and English language.
- In possession of good communication organisational and people skills.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment.
- Good command of Microsoft applications.
EDUCATION
A Bachelors degree is preferred.
WORKING TIME
Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 40 hours per week.
