- Troubleshooting Skills of IBMi Operating System.
- Good knowledge of Operating System (general) Ops Navigator BRMS HMC & TCP/IP.
- Knowledge in IBM i Performance Management.
- Knowledge on Power HA & Connect: DIRECT.
- Performing system IPL.
- Knowledge on iCluster and troubleshooting on errors.
- PTFs (Program Temporary Fixes)
- Should be well versed with ITIL concepts and more specific understanding of Service operations activities.
- Worked in an infrastructure critical environment and understands how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Banking domain experience will be added advantage.
- Experience with standard change incident and problem management process.
- Willingness to work in 24x7x365 IBMi environment including oncall rotation weekend work etc.
- Must be able to perform well as a member of a larger team.
- Ability to establish mutual expectations with clients is required. Ensuring that the processes are adhered to.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) are critical for success in this job.
- Must be motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.
