Agrim is an assetlight B2B agriinputs ecommerce platform. We recently raised $17.3 million in Series B funding from Asia Impact to enhance our technology expand our product offerings and scale operations.
Responsibilities
Problem:
The $50 billion agriinputs industry faces significant challenges due to fragmented diversified and seasonal demand. Traditional brickandmortar supply chains have limited product variety maintain excessive inventory require high working capital and are unable to meet farmers needs in a timely manner. Over 40000 MSME agriinput manufacturers rely on these inefficient datadark supply chains negatively impacting their profitability.
Solution:
While the ideal solution would be direct delivery from manufacturers to farmers similar to how platforms like Swiggy and Zomato operate the costs are prohibitive. Additionally farmers often need local farming advice which makes direct delivery impractical.
At Agrim we are building a justintime supply platform for local shops that farmers trust. These stores gain access to 30000 products through our platform offering far more variety than traditional options.
By leveraging technology we maintain an assetlight model keep costs low and ensure that we can reach even the most remote areas of the country. Our focus is on continuous improvement allowing us to grow steadily and capitalize on compounding over time.
Requirements
We are looking for a handson engineering leader with 8 years of experience in solving complex workflow challenges in ecommerce.
- Expertise in backend development database management caching and queuing systems
- Proven experience building and managing an engineering team (812 engineers)
- Ability to collaborate with freelancers and other external resources as needed
- Ability to prioritise the core products while being open to external solutions for noncore products

BTech from Tier 1 Engineering College
