Shipping Line Manager

Overview

Naouri Group is looking for a shipping Line Manager whom will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a shipping line. This includes working with customers to understand their shipping needs, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth logistics, and managing the day-to-day operations of the shipping line.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies to increase business and revenue for the shipping line
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers, freight forwarders, and other partners
• Negotiating rates and contracts with shipping partners and vendors
• Managing the scheduling and routing of ships and cargo
• Monitoring and analyzing market trends to stay competitive
• Ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws related to shipping operations
• Supervising and managing a team of shipping line employees
• Identifying and troubleshooting any operational issues that arise
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in shipping line management or operations
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management
• Experience with transportation and technology
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
