Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Type Full Time
Experience: 3 years of experience
Locations: Santa Cruz (w) Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintaining proper accounting records
Assessing financial risks and suggesting preventive measures
Liaising with clients business partners auditors and vendors
Ensuring complete compliance with the state authorities
Offering expert financial advice and services
Investigating and rectifying any financial discrepancies
Conducting internal and external audits
Preparing budgets annual reports and strategies
Advising on financial transactions mergers and acquisitions
Helping with reciprocity agreements training agreements or similar tax/paymentrelated
queries
Analyzing the company financial systems and procedures
Processing online payments and bank statements
Preparing and forecasting budget reports
Preventing or suggesting ways to stop any fraudulent activities
Providing assistance with tax planning
Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
(e.g. GAAP IFRS).
Manage the general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Oversee monthly quarterly and annual closing processes.
Assist with tax planning and compliance ensuring timely filing of tax returns.
Stay uptodate on the latest accounting regulations and best practices.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decisionmaking.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Sales Operations) on financial matters.
May supervise and mentor junior accounting staff (depending on experience level).
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or eligibility for designation.
Minimum of 23 years of experience in a corporate accounting role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles financial reporting standards and
GAAP/IFRS.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Oracle NetSuite).
Job Requirements:
Certificated Public Accountant or accredited to a reputed institution would be Plus
Excellent organizational and time management skills
