Shift Incharge - Injection Moulding

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the entire shift operations of injection plastic moulding.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead and motivate the team of operators to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to address equipment maintenance and repair needs.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain product quality.
• Provide training and coaching to team members for skill development as necessary.
• Report on shift performance including production metrics and issues encountered.
• Ensure compliance with production regulations environmental health and safety standards.
• Participate in shift handover meetings to communicate relevant information to the next shift.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Resolve interpersonal conflicts and disciplinary issues within the team if any.
• Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new staff as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 6 years of experience.
• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or incharge role within an injection molding environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of injection molding processes equipment and materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with crossfunctional teams.
