A leading Indian distributor of multispecialty chemicals company based in Mumbai seeking a Business Development Manager for Food Ingredients business.
Company Brief : The company has history of over 25 years and has over 75 employees across three verticals of Food Ingredients Personal Ingredients and other Specialty Chemicals . The company deals in over 325 products sourced from over 40 global suppliers and well established relationship with over 4000 clients across India.
Experience :
7 to 10 years of commercial experience of handling customers from industries such as Emulsion Adhesives polyurethane Chemical Food.
Brief Description of Duties:
Responsible for meeting the top line volume and value targets for the Regions /products allotted for the financial year in line with Commodity Chemicals Business s growth plan and strategy.
Develop plan and implement suitable sales strategies for new customer acquisition.
Develop plan and implement sales strategies for achieving maximum sales potential from the existing customers.
Ensure regional expansion to increase reach and distribution in line with Commodity Chemicals Business strategy.
Generate monthly quarterly and annual sales forecast and ensure its effective implementation.
Develop new Key Accounts and ensure sustainable growth & profitability of these accounts as per the annual target.
Carry out product gap analysis for existing industries we cater to on an ongoing basis and provide input to HOD.
Develop proper market intelligence and carry out competitor analysis to identify and develop Ankush s unique selling propositions and differentiators for our products basket.
Ensure regular monitoring of collection to ensure no payment over dues as per the agreed norms.
Coordinate with customer services team / warehouse for all dispatch related matters. Should visit the warehouse every month to physically check stock positions product quality shelflife related aspects to ensure there is no dead stock at any point in time.
Ensure 1215 days of customer visits in a planned manner covering all key customers in allotted regions.
Participate in all sales review meetings as per plan.
Actively participate in all trade shows / exhibitions to promote our products to generate new business leads and track monitor sales level progress.
Skills Set/Area of Expertise:
Hands on experience in Commodity chemicals with trader & exposure of handling products like PVA Acrylates & Monomers Epoxy Resin Ethyleneamine etc
Possess good communication & strategic prospecting skills.
Sound analytical & problemsolving skills good negotiation skills & growth mindset.
