Job Description

Overview:

The BFSI (Banking Financial Services and Insurance) Recruiter plays a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent within the BFSI industry. They are responsible for sourcing screening and selecting qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of financial institutions and insurance companies. The BFSI Recruiter collaborates closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring the recruitment of skilled and qualified professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to identify top talent within the BFSI industry.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels job boards and professional networking platforms.
  • Screen and assess candidates resumes and job applications to identify qualified individuals.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates relevant knowledge skills and experience for the BFSI sector.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
  • Utilize effective networking and relationshipbuilding techniques to connect with industry professionals and potential candidates.
  • Coordinate and manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer acceptance.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards during the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter specifically within the BFSI sector.
  • Demonstrated understanding of banking financial services and insurance industry trends and requirements.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to the BFSI industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective candidate engagement.
  • Ability to evaluate candidates suitability for roles in finance banking and insurance.
  • Proven track record of meeting recruitment targets and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Experience in conducting behavioral and competencybased interviews.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion principles in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in dynamic recruitment environments.
  • Professional certifications in talent acquisition or human resources (e.g. SHRMCP CIPD) preferred.
