RN - Cath Lab

Position: Registered Nurse Cath Lab PERM 10HRS DAY

Pay is $90k to $100k ( as per experience )

Location: Dallas TX 75226

Job Type: Fulltime

Shift: 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM (10 hours per day)

Education: Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification MAJOR Nursing

EXPERIENCE 2 Years with full time CVICU/ ICU experience or previous Cath Lab RN experience

Certification/License/Registration:

All certifications must be AHA

Registered Nurse (RN)

ACLS (ACLS): Must have both Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities:

Must have basic knowledge of the job of a Cath lab nurse in preparing patients for catheterization angioplasty and pacemaker implantations.

Must assist the physician in the catheterization angioplasty and pacemaker implantation processes.

Must keep patients calm and relaxed during procedures where theyre required to be awake.

As a senior Cath lab nurse must administer appropriate medicine when needed.

Must be able to perform proper afterprocedure care.

Must check vital signs of the patient with proper care.

Provide education about medications and care to the patients and families before the discharge.
