PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIT S
- Ce poste n cessitera de travailler sur des contrats majeurs notamment les contrats clients les contrats de ventes les contrats dapprovisionnement de mat rielles les contrats de distribution et les licences.
- Conseiller sur des questions telles que le droit r glementaire le droit immobilier et le droit de lenvironnement assurer la conformit des op rations.
- Fournir des conseils juridiques commerciaux pratiques dans un environnement au rythme rapide et en constante volution
EXIGENCES
- Membre en r gle du Barreau du Qu bec ou dun autre barreau canadien
- Plus de 8 ann es dexp rience en droit commercial g n ral auxquelles le candidat a eu loccasion de travailler sur une vari t de questions juridiques.
- Exp rience pr alable l interne d une grande organisation ou dans un grand cabinet davocats en particulier dans le secteur manufacturier.
- Exp rience dans la n gociation la r daction et la gestion dun grand nombre de contrats commerciaux y compris mais sans sy limiter des contrats dapprovisionnement de financement de vente / marketing.
- Solides comp tences organisationnelles; capacit multit che et de g rer un grand volume de questions.
- Ind pendant fort sens des affaires et comp tences en leadership et en gestion des risques.
- Excellentes comp tences en communication crite et orale en fran ais et en anglais.

ABOUT THE COMPANY AND THE TEAM
Recochem a prominent Canadian producer and supplier of automotive and home products stands out in its field. The company is renowned for its outstanding customer support and dedication to ecofriendly practices. With operations extending across North and South America as well as Australia China and India Recochem now has an increased need to expand its legal team. Consequently they are in search of a Senior Legal Counsel who will manage their various business divisions and handle significant contractual matters. You will have the chance to work at the head office of a worldwide organization and provide strategic business solutions to help the entrepreneurial company in its longterm vision of growth.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position will require the incumbent to work on contracts including customer contracts product sales contracts raw materials supply contracts distribution contracts and licences.
- Advise on a wide variety of issues ensuring compliance across operations and dealing with issues in regulatory law real estate law and environmental law.
- Provide practical legal commercial advice in a past paced and ever evolving environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Member in good standing with the Barreau du Qu bec or another Canadian bar
- Minimum of 7 years of general commercial law experience through which the candidate has had the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters.
- Prior inhouse counsel experience or experience in a top tier law firm particularly in manufacturing.
- Experience negotiating drafting and managing a wide range of commercial contracts including but not limited to contracts for procurement finance sales and marketing.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage a large volume of varied matters.
- Independent strong business acumen risk management skills and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English.
