Senior Accountant Tax and Advisory to join our client a very successful public tax and financial planning firm located in Oakville focusing on helping highincome earning families and entrepreneurs.
If you're a CPA with at least 3 years of experience looking to transition to a boutique firm with great worklife balance a predictable schedule minimal overtime highend clientele from diverse industries and a collaborative highenergy team then this could be the perfect role for you!
You'll also have access to the company's offshore bookkeeping support team.

You'll be managing a portfolio of CCPC clientele mainly within the professional services space including healthcare as well as boutique real estate construction firms small manufacturers and real estate investors. You'll prepare compilation engagements manage tax compliance strategize ownermanager remuneration and identify taxplanning and financial planning opportunities for our advisory team.
This role offers a starting salary of $85000 (with opportunity for earnings growth) full comprehensive benefits 3 weeks of vacation 1week yearend office shutdown with a tightknit team that likes to foster a fun and upbeat environment.
You'll be working onsite at their Oakville office to start MondayFriday 9 AM to 5 PM with the ability to work from home on Fridays once you've settled into the role.

Primary Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant Tax and Advisory: - Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of CCPC clients & manage tax compliance & financial reporting needs
- Deliver highlevel consultative client service reflective of the company's brand and values
- Develop compilation engagements using Caseware
- Clean up of books using QBO
- Prepare and file various tax returns including T2 T1 T3 HST T5013 T5018 using iFirm
- Develop taxsaving strategies; prepare comprehensive tax planning memos to partners
What You Bring to the Table: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting and tax preparation (corporate and personal)
- Canadian CPA designation or completed CFE with fulfilled hours
- Demonstrated proficiency with small CCPC clientele and strong tax knowledge
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Direct experience with Caseware QBO and ifirm is a strong asset
- Completion of indepth tax courses such as MTAX or extensive taxfocused work is a strong asset
- CCPC audit and review experience is an asset
