Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Using Revit to produce highquality 3D shop drawings of Precast concrete elements utilizing Internal Coupler System.
- The ability to follow new processes in the business and use Revit to streamline shop drawing production.
- Create and manage 3D Shop drawing models fully coordinated with 3rd party consultant Architectural and Structural Revit models
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders running RFI s with engineers and architects to coordinate and detail complex structures.
- Managing internal drafting resources to produce drawings in a timely manner and meet the casting program s of our precast partners.
- Follow rigorous quality assurance and checking process to ensure all shop drawings leaving the office are accurate and error free.
- Assisting with advice and support for external drafter and shop detailers using the Internal Coupler System.
- Using Revit to produce highquality 3D shop drawings of traditional precast elements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a structural engineering drafting/modelling and/or precast detailing role.
- Strong understanding and demonstrable experience in reinforced concrete structures (both precast and in situ).
- Ability to interpret consultant design drawings including architectural structural and building services.
- High degree of proficiency with Revit software.
- Attention to detail and understanding of BIM workflows.
- Ability to confidently communicate and engage with stakeholders clients and colleagues.
- Eagerness to contribute to the development of our internal systems and processes.
