Job Description

PAL Technical Services a division of PAL Aerospace is a leader in fullservice aircraft maintenance from modifying a wide range of aircraft to line maintenance and maintenance repair and overhaul services. We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets. PAL Technical Services manages all aircraft maintenance activities within the PAL Group of Companies. We are currently seeking qualified applicants for Certifying and NonCertifying Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with our Maintenance Avionics and Structures teams to join our growing crew of dedicated aviation professionals to contribute to innovative aircraft modification programs.

PAL Group is offering successful candidates the opportunity to gain permanent residence (PR) in Canada under the NL Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP).

Our Operations:

PAL Group of Companies provides full aircraft design and customization services to ensure our clients are well equipped. Our team has extensive experience configuring a wide variety of aircraft types and platforms to meet client requirements.

Our Maintenance Avionics and Structures AMEs work from engineered drawings to fabricate and install a multitude of aircraft modifications from missionizing aircraft for search and rescue and surveillance operations to aircraft conversions.

Our Base is located in the following area:

  • St Johns Newfoundland Canada

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Required: Must have completed an approved Aircraft Maintenance Course or have equivalent;
    • Preferred: AME Licence with B1 or B2
  • Experience in flight line operations would be considered an asset;
  • Experience on the following aircraft is preferred:
    • Dash 8100/200/300 and/or Dash 8400
    • ATR42 or ATR72
    • King Air 200 and/or King Air 300
    • DHC6 Twin Otter
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Troubleshooting skills;
  • Must possess strong interpersonal decisionmaking organization and communication skills; and
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
