Responsible for designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions to align with business requirements ensuring optimal performance and scalability of the platform. Qualifications typically include a bachelors degree in computer science or a related field with preferred certifications in ServiceNow. Experience requirements usually encompass at least 10 years in ServiceNow development and architecture including deep knowledge of ServiceNows capabilities custom application development integration and workflow design. The role demands strong technical leadership the ability to mentor teams and expertise in ITSM strategies coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem
Development Services:
Design develop system configuration and customizations (when necessary) for the ServiceNow platform and services
Deliver new functionality across ServiceNow applications
Support for the entire development lifecycle
Assistance with platform administration including but not limited to incident resolution
Quality Assurance (QA) Services:
Validate the application functionality built by developer(s) and the system administrators prior to promoting configuration into production
Creation of test plans and coordination of testing activities including unit testing system testing and user acceptance testing
Coordination with customer testing activities including the test plan test cases and test execution
Business Analyst Services:
Capture all business and user requirements (as stories for agile shops)
Ensures requirements are documented understood developed tested and delivered to specification
Owning of the relationship with project stakeholders to identify prioritize model and document business process and data requirements
Representation with project stakeholders throughout planning development and release processes
Alignment and coordination with the platform teams to develop release estimates
Support for all testing efforts
Alignment and coordination with stakeholders to drive adoption
Support Services:
Maintain the stability and usability of the platform across production and nonproduction environments
Perform application/platform maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification / remediation
Manage support for incidents
Lead upgrade/patching/updates planning and execution
Manage instance security: user/group access administration access control lists etc.
Provide configuration assistance to developers
Architecture Services:
Ensure platform alignment with the business strategy
Provide consultative technical leadership to the platform teams
Create and maintain a detailed view of the existing architecture
Provide architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions
Resolve technical escalations including responding to defects. This would or may entail direct coordination and work with the software vendor (ServiceNow)
Participate in process improvement workshops.
Work closely with enterprise architecture teams.
Assist in migrating configuration across instances.
Full Time
