As a Consumer Electronics Styling Appearance Strategy Product Manager you will spearhead the research development and execution of design strategies for our smartphone range. This role demands a keen eye for design trends and an innovative mindset to enhance the user experience through the visual and tactile aspects of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Conduct market and consumer research to identify current trends and future directions in smartphone aesthetics including colors materials and textures.
- Design Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive design strategies that align with brand vision and market demands focusing on modularity case quality color schemes and overall form factor.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design engineering and marketing teams to ensure the design strategy complements both technological advancements and marketing strategies.
- Product Development Oversight: Oversee the design process from concept to final execution ensuring that all products meet our high standards for aesthetic and functional design.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure materials and end products align with our specifications and quality standards.
- Innovation Leadership: Stay ahead of industry innovations to continuously improve and redefine our product design standards.
- Packaging Design: Extend the design strategy to product packaging ensuring a consistent and engaging unboxing experience.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Design Art Marketing Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in product management design or a related field in the fashion retail or consumer electronics industries.
- Proven track record of successful product launches that emphasize design and aesthetics.
- Strong understanding of materials ergonomics color theory and consumer psychology.
- Excellent communication project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
