Project Manager PMP Certified

Title: Project Manager (PMP Certified)

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Key Requirements:

• Active PMP certification through PMI
• 5 years of experience in project management
• Proficiency in developing and managing formal project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project
• Experience in tracking progress and variances against baselines using Waterfall Agile and Hybrid methodologies
• Familiarity with standard PM techniques such as scrum sessions
• Ability to present schedule/status updates to both ITS and client agency leadership
• Experience in managing COTS software implementation projects and/or inhouse application development projects
• Strong skills in developing writing and managing detailed Scope Documents
• Ability to review project deliverables and manage the deliverables acceptance process
• Experience in managing project change request processes
• Proficiency in project quality planning assurance testing and governance
• Previous involvement in managing and leading IT projects for US Government agencies
• Excellent communication skills for project status reporting to stakeholders executives management and project resource teams
