Job Description

Our portfolio of products returns over 45m in sales per annum and were recruiting aSupply Chain Managerto join our team during a period of transformational change andsustained growth. Are you aconfident communicator comfortable working with senior stakeholders across UK & Europe being accountable for daily management of five replenishment colleagues working across four locations ensuring delivery of efficient effective planning and movement of stock from our suppliers to our warehouse(s) to meet both business needs and consumer expectations Are you comfortable being responsible for managing all associated processes and supplier/inbound logistics relationships and reviewing evaluating and improving Supply Chain workflow processes and procedures Then we want to hear from you. Main responsibilities:

  • Manage coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results added value and continuous improvements.
  • Agreeing the forecasting framework with the Head of Supply Chain Management & Head of category proactively work with category managers on initial stock allocation for new products.
  • Ensure that the department remains compliant with external legislation (i.e. Packaging) and Health and Safety practices.
  • Support the team working with internal and external stakeholders to find winwin solutions to issues wherever possible.
  • Maintain accurate contact information for supply chain/transport for all suppliers.
  • Create and maintain accurate workflow processes and procedures within the department.
  • Actively encourage a culture of idea generation creativity and continuous improvement within the team supporting other team members to implement continuous improvements.

What were looking for in you:

  • People Management Experience is essential
  • Strong background in supply chain logistics distribution purchasing shipping is essential.
  • Experience working within a multinational matrix organisation is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work alongside UK & European stakeholders is ideal
