Ambient Photonics seeks a talented driven HR Director for our South Bay Area team. We are a revolutionary consumer products startup in Scotts Valley CA changing the way we charge our home electronics. What You Will Do

The HR Director at Ambient Photonics plays a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic and collaborative startup work environment. Partnering with the HR team this position contributes to the overall success of the organization by strategically managing human resources driving employee engagement and implementing crucial initiatives such as Performance Management.

The HR Director is instrumental in aligning the workforce with the company's mission and values. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership contributing to crucial plans for current and future manufacturing facilities.

Who You Are

You have extensive experience as an HR leader preferably in startup / hypergrowth technology companies. In your current and/or previous positions you have developed and implemented comprehensive Performance Management programs to enhance individual and team performance.

You are a collaborative executive and can mentor junior team members and company managers alike. Datadriven decisionmaking is important to you as well as creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Words that people use to describe you might be organized energetic and innovative. You display excellent communication skills and sound judgment daily.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on strategic HR management.
• Indepth knowledge of HRIS and other relevant software systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in Performance Management implementation in startups.
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience leading change management initiatives.
• Familiarity with California employment laws and regulations. Familiarity with Massachusetts employment laws and regulations is a plus.
