Job Summary
As a Senior Bookkeeper you will be a fundamental key player within our team. You will be responsible for undertaking all production Bookkeeping activities including the preparation of reports payroll and reconciliations. You will also be involved in refining company procedures and will be required to work solely and exclusively for our firm.
Duties and responsibilities
Each client has their own requirements and the activities can include:
- Data entry and bank reconciliation
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Payroll Pay as You Go withholding (PAYGW) and superannuation processing
- SGC (Super Guarantee Contribution) obligations
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Preparation and lodgement of IAS (Instalment Activity Statement) and BAS (Business Activity Statement)
- Preparation of financial reports
- End of year account activities including STP (Single Touch Payroll) finalisation
- Preparation of Taxable Payment Annual reports (TPAR)
Job Qualifications
- A positive attitude and willingness to be trained and mentored are required.
- A highly efficient and organised bookkeeper and payroll specialist with strong attention to detail.
- Desire Enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience by providing support to other team members.
- Formal Accounting and bookkeeping qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Highly efficient and organised complete work efficiently and in a timely manner
- Attention to detail and ability to problemsolve
- Must be motivated proactive and persistent
- Willingness to learn and embrace technology

- MYOB
- Gsuite
- Receipt Bank (dext)
