Job Description
Were currently seeking a Restaurant Cashier for our client in the food service industry. If you have strong attention to detail excellent numerical skills and enjoy engaging with customers in a fastpaced environment wed like to introduce you to this role as a valuable member of our clients restaurant team.
Requirements
- Education: No degree certificate or diploma
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Work setting
- Restaurant
Tasks
- Operate cash register
- Process money cheques and credit/debit card payments
- Tabulate total payment for goods or services required
- Receive payment for goods or services
- Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- Suggestive selling
- Greet customers
- Accept reservations or takeout orders
- Assist theatre patrons with seat selection
- Provide customer service
- Calculate foreign currency exchange
- Participate in promotional activities
