Job Description

Position Summary:

Savoy Sharm Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Turkish Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Turkish cuisine and have a strong understanding of traditional Turkish cooking techniques. The Turkish Chef will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Turkish dishes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and managing the kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook traditional Turkish dishes according to established recipes and standards
Develop new menu items and specials incorporating seasonal and local ingredients
Train and supervise kitchen staff ensuring highquality food preparation and presentation
Manage inventory and control food costs
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with other chefs and team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turkish Chef in a highvolume restaurant or hotel
Knowledge and understanding of Turkish cuisine and cooking techniques
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks
Strong organizational and time management skills
Food Safety Certification and knowledge of food safety regulations
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work in a hot and busy kitchen environment
