Accounting Systems Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Systems (SAP) Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and extensive knowledge of SAP systems. As an Accounting Systems Specialist you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our companys financial systems ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the companys SAP accounting system ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting system
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors in the system working closely with IT and other departments as needed
• Conduct regular audits of the system to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Train and support team members on the use of the SAP system providing guidance and troubleshooting assistance as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze data for financial reporting and forecasting purposes
• Stay uptodate on the latest SAP updates and developments implementing changes as necessary to enhance system functionality
• Participate in system upgrades and implementations ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to daily operations
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and accuracy of the accounting system
• Act as a subject matter expert for SAP and provide guidance and support to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SAP accounting systems
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with system upgrades and implementations is a plus
