We are seeking a dedicated Finance Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. This role is critical in overseeing our financial accounting processes ensuring accurate financial reporting and implementing effective financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly financial closings and prepare comprehensive reports including bank reconciliations balance sheets profit and loss statements and other necessary reports.
• Oversee cash flow monitor financial data and ensure that financial transactions are correctly recorded.
• Maintain robust accounting controls and recommend policies to improve financial integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with external partners like auditors tax agents and bankers; stay updated with government financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual audit reports and tax returns ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations.
• Investigate audit findings resolve account discrepancies and address noncompliance issues.
• Enhance and develop new accounting systems programs and procedures to improve financial operations.
• Support and guide junior accounting staff and perform additional accounting duties as needed.
• Handle adhoc tasks and provide assistance to the management team.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy; Finance Accounting license preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles demonstrating a capability for process improvement and leadership.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles practices and regulations.
• Excellent command of English with strong attention to detail and a positive proactive attitude.
• Experience in the retail sector is an asset.
• Proximity to the office with a daily commute of no more than 1.5 hours.
• Fluency in Chinese.
