Job Description:
To independently handle FEA projects / tasks on road construction machinery. The projects / tasks can be for Sustenance or New product introduction depending on needs / priorities set. Should be competent enough to understand thoroughly the issue / problem described and able to setup FEA problems with appropriate boundaries. Prepare a 3D model for simulations and execute it following standard procedures. Performs simulation results analysis and proposes optimization solutions.
Should also need to work in the design & development projects as needed.
Should take ownership of the project/task deliverables meeting the expected quality and timelines which would be assigned from time to time.
Experience needed:
3 to 6 years of experience in FEA.
Should have good knowledge / exposure on Applied Mechanics Strength of materials.
Ability to do necessary engineering calculations.
Able to setup FEA problems with appropriate loads and boundary conditions.
Able to understand the Physics of our products.
Proficient in preprocessing and meshing. preferably in Altair Hypermesh.
Proficient in post processing and solving in softwares like Ansys / Optistrut / Nastran
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the design & development of construction / mining equipment or similar products.
Exposure to FMEA knowledge is a plus.
