Job Description

Position: Programmer/Estimator Metal Fabrication Operation

We are seeking a skilled Programmer/Estimator to join our dynamic team in our Metal Fabrication Operation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in programming bend sequence flat layouts turret punches and lasers. Additionally they will be responsible for developing quotes and estimations for customerdesigned products and modifications of existing designs.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit initial quotations and job costing for customerspecified products and stock production schedules.
Obtain quotes from third parties for production items as required.
Attend both company and customer production meetings as necessary.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints by developing effective solutions.
Identify and address potential challenges within the production process providing innovative problemsolving solutions.
Offer expert technical advice to customers.
Conduct job site walkthroughs and site visits to analyze special job needs and requirements.
Participate in periodic audit reviews to identify and document areas for improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
5 years of experience in a metal fabrication setting.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Indepth knowledge of metal fabrication and production techniques including the ability to read drawings and schematics.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professionalism integrity and a positive demeanor in representing the company.
Strong problemsolving skills.
Resultsoriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Leadership aptitude preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to coordinate with crossfunctional teams.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts.
Familiarity with Trumpf equipment and CAD software preferred.

Job Details:
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: $26.00 $32.00 per hour ($66500 annually)
Expected Hours: 40 per week
