JOB TITLE: Design Engineer Aircraft Interiors
LOCATION: Dallas/Fort Worth TX

Summary:
-
Designs aircraft interiors structures and mechanical systems to meet customer criteria FAA requirements and quality standards.
-
Utilizes ComputerAided Design (CAD) tools to create and check designs for Fit Form and Function.
-
Provides design feedback liaison engineering support and ensures adherence to budget and project schedules.
-
Develops interior and mechanical systems designs using CAD tools.
-
Ensures compliance with customer requirements FAA standards and project timelines.
-
Provides design guidance and liaison engineering support.
-
Reviews designs for Fit Form and Function.
-
Assists in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
-
Performs other assigned duties.
Required Skills:
-
Bachelors degree in engineering with 5 years of relevant experience (aviation background preferred).
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor 3D design and mechanical assemblies.
-
Strong understanding of industry design/documentation standards.
-
Excellent time management communication and problemsolving skills.
-
Ability to travel and work outside core business hours when necessary.
