• Review client/carrier combinations that do not pass Express rate troubleshoot and resolve.
  
• Request updated EDI specs service codes and/or charge codes from carriers and clients.
  
• Document special rating routines Maintain bundling logic documentation.
  
• Troubleshoot issues with clients and carriers.
  
• Enter into Express Rate
  
• Interpret the contract and determine the best method of loading rates into Express Rate.
  
• Determine exceptions and methodology for loading up pricing.
  
• Obtains internal requests to load or research rates via the Request System.
  
• Receives rate updates (via email mail or fax) and tracks each receipt.
  
• Prepare mail and faxed submissions for scanning and distribute information to auditor and others as needed.
  
• Deciphers all contractual terms and conditions regarding rate details for shipment of goods such as locations weights modes types of freight and any exceptions.
  
• Loads all rates where possible; if not possible must explain and track reasons rates cannot be loaded for client team and upper management.
  
• Prepares large volume changes via .csv spreadsheets to be imported systematically. Records rate information in client/carrier Excel files.
  
• Requests updated EDI specs service codes and/or charge codes from carriers and clients; Verifies EDI transmissions.
  
• Reviews and analyzes rates after they are loaded to ensure accuracy.
  
• Analyze and resolve all suspended bills to see why the client/carrier combination rates did not pass the Express Rate.
  
• Is proactive in working with auditors to obtain annual rate changes prior to their effective date to give D2L time to load and avoid delays in auto rating.
  

Requirements

• Working with Microsoft Excel (Any Version)
  
• Working with Adobe PDF
  
• Working with CSV TXT and or XML Files
  
• Working in Microsoft Visual Studio.
  
• Working with Source Control (TFS GIT Subversion Tortoise Confluence/Jira).
  
• Basic Understanding of C# or another ObjectOriented Language (Java Python Ruby C C and or VB).
  
• JavaScript Primarily or in Combination with another Alternative Language (Coffee Script Dart TypeScript Clojure Script Opal Elm Kaffeine and or Roy).
  
• Working with and getting Data from Relational Database Systems (Microsoft Oracle MySQL Postgre SQLite).
  
• Knowledge of SQL Reporting Excel and Data entry systems.
  
• High attention to detail and ability to handle complex issues when dealing with data
  
• Strong verbal and written communication
  
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript
  
• Associate degree in Information Services &/or Computer Science; Preferred Bachelor s degree in Information Services &/or Computer Science)
