Job Description

Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years of proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer Application Support Engineer or similar role.
  • BS degree in Information Technology Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Handson experience with Windows/Linux.
  • Good understanding of banking/ fintech & cloud communication products.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide stepbystep technical help both written and verbal.
  • Basic scripting programming and coding.
  • Knowledge about Java NodeJs.
  • Microsoft SQL MySQL or Oracle.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify solutions to software issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.
  • Track application issues through to resolution within agreed time limits.
  • Communicate with enduser & business team through a series of actions either via phone email or chat until theyve solved a technical issue.
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers).
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
  • Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged.
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.
  • Follow up with clients IT support team to ensure their systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Maintain jovial relationships with client.
  • Research diagnose troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve system issues.
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Implement new product features and upgrades and observe their development review error logs oversee source code repositories and software configurations and work with the product team as needed.
  • Maintain application on UAT environment and product package for Production environments.
  • Connect with clients IT Ops& Support team for the deployment of the same in production environment.
