Job Description
Note: We are looking for candidates with Hardware design experience on power electronics SMPS (switch mode power supply) with some knowledge of analog/digital electronics.
Title: Design Engineer/Hardware Engineer
Location: Houston TX 77032 (OnSite)
Duration 6 months
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Hardware design & development of Downhole electronic instruments
- Selection & Cross verification of instruments (Excapacitor resistor inductors RTD Oscillators)
- Selection & Circuit design of Ac amplifiers motors
- Hardware design & Development of SMPS up to 300w
- Good knowledge in Transformer rectifier regulator circuit design for SMPS
- Good knowledge in calculating power factor of SMPS.
- High voltage PD panel component selection Design (up to 600v)
- High temperature electronics component selection and trouble shoot (ex Transducer RTD Temperature sensor)
- Identification and verification of temperature sensor (exJtype Ktype)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Circuit design with Eplan Auto cad Sloid works.
- BOM preparation.
- Documentation Of instruments
