Role: Program Coordinator
Location: Chennai
Experience: Overall 6 years of experience in Program management
Key skillset: 1. Proven working experience in project management 2. Strong working knowledge on MS Project/Primavera (Schedule creation Progress update reporting) 3. Excellent clientfacing & internal communication skills 4. Project management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
1. Assist Manager/sponsors to create project charter.
2. Facilitate project planning workshop with cross functional team to create a project schedule.
3. Establish strong client relationship to run the project smoothly
4. Assist with advising managers and teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches and act as the first point of contact for any program management queries
5. Implement Project management process to measure & update the progress
6. Monitoring actual work progress w.r.t baseline schedule & update the progress in MS Project
7. Communicate the project progress to key stakeholders.
8. Project progress reporting (Gantt chart critical path Look ahead etc)
9. Timely coordination & expedition of the deliverables
10. Proactively identity issues that lead to slippage in schedule & milestones timely escalation of issues of slippages & delays to higher management and suggest corrective actions.
11. Prepare the Catchup plan for delayed activites to expedite the progress
12. Facilitate Risk management & escalate the risk as per agreed process
