Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality lectures and seminars on financerelated subjects
- Develop and implement curriculum enhancements based on industry trends and best practices
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students on academic and research projects
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in finance targeting toptier journals
- Participate in academic and professional conferences to present research findings
- Provide academic and career guidance to students and assist in their professional development
- Engage in community outreach and industry partnerships to enhance the finance program s reputation
- Participate in academic governance and institutional service activities
- Contribute to the development and assessment of learning outcomes and program goals
- Stay current with developments in finance including technological advancements and market trends
- Contribute to the advancement of the department through committee work and leadership roles
- Collaborate with industry professionals to facilitate realworld learning experiences for students
- Supervise student organizations or clubs related to finance or investment
- Provide academic advisement and support to students pursuing finance degrees
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Finance MBA in Finance
- Record of scholarly publications in reputable finance journals
- Demonstrated teaching excellence in finance or related areas
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to mentor and advise students effectively
- Knowledge of financial software and databases
- Experience in industry or professional finance roles is a plus
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Active participation in academic or professional finance associations
- Experience in securing external funding for research projects
