Job Description

Overview

The Telesales role is crucial to our organizations sales strategy as it involves engaging potential customers through telephone conversations to promote and sell products or services. Telesales representatives play a vital role in acquiring new customers maintaining relationships with existing customers and driving revenue through effective sales techniques.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to generate sales.
  • Deliver scripted sales pitches to the customer that highlight the benefits of the product or service.
  • Handle customer questions and objections effectively to close sales.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of calls made and outcomes achieved.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Provide feedback and input on product or service improvements.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.


Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in telesales or a similar sales role.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle objections and rejection.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Customer serviceoriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in using sales CRM software.
  • Resilience and perseverance in a targetdriven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree is a plus.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated approach to sales.
