Job Description
- Prepare and review tax returns for the whole group.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax advice and guidance to the team and management, including tax planning strategies.
- Assist with tax audits and respond to tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities and tax consultants.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify tax planning opportunities and develop tax-saving strategies for clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
- Identify potential tax exposure and make recommendations in mitigating tax risks through collection and analysis of data.
- Assist with other tax-related projects and duties as assigned and requested by the team.
- Assist in the interpretation of tax and transfer pricing regulations in Egypt.
- Prepare tax reconciliations and adjustments - if necessary.
- Review contracts and transactions entered by the Branch office for any tax exposure.
- Provide ad hoc support for maintaining smooth day-to-day operations of the office, including but not limited to making payments to suppliers and communication vendors, facilitating purchases of office supplies, etc. and any other similar tasks.
