Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Information Technology Security Specialist to strengthen our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in network security and practical experience in managing security technologies. With 3 to 5 years of experience in the IT security field applicants should have a demonstrated ability to implement and optimize security measures and possess a proactive approach to cybersecurity challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems networks and information.
• Identify vulnerabilities within our network and resolve any potential issues that could cause security breaches.
• Deploy and manage security technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and endpoint security solutions.
• Participate in the development and implementation of organizationwide security policies and protocols.
• Assist in the coordination of incident response efforts and participate in security breach investigations.
• Collaborate with team members and customers to provide effective security solutions that align with business objectives.
• Keep uptodate with the latest security systems standards authentication protocols and products.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security CEH) are desirable.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in network security with handson experience in managing various security technologies.
• Exposure to or experience working in professional services or consulting environments; experience with Big 4 is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with the implementation of network security protocols and data protection strategies.
• Good analytical and problemsolving skills capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to engage with customers and colleagues at all levels providing security guidance and solutions that meet business needs.
