Note: Consultants should be on their own W2.

Description:

We are seeking a skilled WAF Engineer to join our team for a project with our client IBM/Truist. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and taking action on WAF applications and URLs to disconnect/mitigate hundreds of TIH (Truist Integration Hub) applications and URLs. This role involves maintaining Akamai/AWS/Azure operations for TIH until the date of separation consulting with TIH to aid in their migration off the companys WAF and decommissioning/cleaning up TIHrelated hostnames upon separation. Additionally the candidate will be responsible for identifying and documenting TIH WAF configuration items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and take action on WAF applications and URLs to disconnect/mitigate TIH applications and URLs.
• Maintain Akamai/AWS/Azure operations for TIH until the date of separation.
• Consult with TIH to assist in their migration off the companys WAF.
• Decommission and clean up TIHrelated hostnames upon separation.
• Identify and document TIH WAF configuration items.

Requirements:

• 6 or 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Web Application Firewall engineering.
• Proficiency in maintaining Akamai/AWS/Azure BAU operations.
• Strong consulting skills to assist in migration efforts.
• Ability to decommission and clean up hostnames.
• Experience in identifying and documenting WAF configuration items.
