Responsibilities:
- Migration process from Netscaler to F5 including assessing the existing Netscaler infrastructure developing migration plans and executing the migration with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with network architects and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable highavailability F5 solutions that align with business objectives.
- Perform troubleshooting root cause analysis and performance tuning of F5 solutions to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of F5 configurations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend and implement best practices for security and compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in F5 technologies and methodologies.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in F5 load balancing security and network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Extensive experience as an F5 Engineer with a focus on LTM and loadbalancing technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully executing migration projects from Netscaler to F5.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP DNS SSL HTTP and other network protocols.
- Indepth knowledge of F5 BIGIP platforms including configuration monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g. Python Ansible) for F5 configuration management.
- Familiarity with security concepts and practices such as SSL/TLS encryption firewall policies and web application security.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Experience with F5 DNS/GTM.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as F5 Certified BIGIP Administrator (F5CA) or F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5CTS LTM) are highly desirable.
- Must speak fluent Spanish.
