Job Description


Cloudstreet Consulting is seeking individuals to join our team as Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Trainers for a 12month period (220 days) supporting our government client in Darwin.

As an EMR Trainer youll be instrumental in the implementation of the Territorywide Electronic Medical Record system Acacia. This system is being introduced across NT Healths primary remote and tertiary healthcare services in phases and we need dedicated professionals to ensure its successful adoption.

Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive training and support to users of the Acacia EMR system. Youll contribute to the development of training materials enduser support resources and promotional materials focusing on the practical application of clinical workflows. Using a blended approach of online and instructorled training sessions youll equip users with the skills and knowledge needed to maximize the benefits of the Acacia system.

Were looking for individuals with a strong understanding of clinical workflows within healthcare settings excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to develop engaging training materials. Experience in delivering both online and instructorled training sessions along with familiarity with healthcare IT systems and terminology will be advantageous.

Location of work: Darwin


Key Duties:

  • Codesign training content to be developed for enduser online training and instructorled training including end user support and promotional materials ensuring clinical focus and workflow application where appropriate using future state business process maps and change impact assessments to inform training content.
  • Deliver clinical information systems training applying a blended approach in a variety of contexts including oneonone small group and large group forums following a facilitator guide in line with agreed training delivery processes and standards implementation plans and schedules.
  • Lead continual process improvement by assessing training effectiveness to ensure the desired training quality standards are met and assist with preparation and analysis of training progress and summarise findings for team management.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of people including project sponsors senior managers stakeholders/clients other project team members external agencies and vendors.
  • Provide golive implementation training and support across the Northern Territory for the implementation phases including outofhours training and rostered support to meet the agreed support requirements of the Program.


Requirements


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Substantial relevant experience in clinical or professional service delivery in a community service or health care setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used software tools required for online training development.
  • Highly developed communication interpersonal negotiation and collaboration skills with ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure remain agile in a fastpaced working environment and effectively manage competing priorities while achieving required objectives.
  • A current Northern Territory driver s licence or ability to obtain a preparedness to travel and spend periods of time away from Darwin and to work rostered and nonstandard working hours as required.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional accountable honest respectful and innovative

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Degree level qualification in Health or Community Services or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in delivering training within a clinical health software implementation context or similar.
  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training or other recognised training qualification.

  • High level social and written skills with ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds and build productive relationships.
  • Selfstarter with high personal drive and a positive attitude.
  • Disciplined and accountable for supporting and maintaining work products.
  • Behaves in a respectful and professional manner maintaining high integrity and transparency when delivering work.
  • Excellent problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Promotes teamwork and collaboration by engaging stakeholders and team members.
  • Services Personnel are also expected to abide (and confirm they will) by the DCDD Corporate Values of Honesty Professional Respectful Accountable and Innovative.

Clearance Requirements

  • National Police Clearance Required
  • Working with Children (OCHRE) Required
