Job Overview:
The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for handling routine taxrelated tasks and resolving straightforward issues related to tax accounting reporting planning audits research and compliance. This role ensures that all tasks are completed according to all the compliances and defined procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying investigating and reporting finance related compliance issues irregularities and violations.
- Ensure that businesses follow and maintain relevant industry and government regulations laws and policies.
- Liaise with government agencies/authorities to provide reports and learn about upcoming guideline changes pertaining to finance related matter.
- Conducting internal investigations and audits on finance related compliance issues.
- Advising company leaders on finance related compliance matters.
- Completing special/adhoc finance related compliance projects.
- Any other tasks assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit tax compliance or regulatory affairs.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA CPA CA or CTA are preferred.
- A proven track record in managing tax matters is preferred.
