Tax Compliance Senior

Main Duties:

• Handling tax compliance for a portfolio of clients
• Assisting clients with their ongoing tax enquiries
• Liaising with the Inland Revenue Department on various compliance matters
• Prepare and review client tax computations and online submission of tax returns
• Handling the process of income tax refund claims including shareholder registrations
• Prepare the necessary documentation in relation to dividend distributions refund claims and adjustment forms
• Lead support and review the work of more junior team members
• Contribute to tax advisory projects from time to time
  

• Ideally be a fully qualified Accountant
• Have around 3 years of prior relevant experience
• A good working knowledge of Maltas tax law tax accounting and the allocation of income to the various tax account
• Have a good command of the tax provisions related to company valuations and of factors affecting the tax residency status of taxpayers
• Have an awareness and understanding of changes in legislation
  

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
