Main Duties:
- Handling tax compliance for a portfolio of clients
- Assisting clients with their ongoing tax enquiries
- Liaising with the Inland Revenue Department on various compliance matters
- Prepare and review client tax computations and online submission of tax returns
- Handling the process of income tax refund claims including shareholder registrations
- Prepare the necessary documentation in relation to dividend distributions refund claims and adjustment forms
- Lead support and review the work of more junior team members
- Contribute to tax advisory projects from time to time
What skills do you need- Ideally be a fully qualified Accountant
- Have around 3 years of prior relevant experience
- A good working knowledge of Maltas tax law tax accounting and the allocation of income to the various tax account
- Have a good command of the tax provisions related to company valuations and of factors affecting the tax residency status of taxpayers
- Have an awareness and understanding of changes in legislation
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
