Job Description

TITLE: Program Manager IT Construction

DURATION: 12 months

LOCATION: Hybrid Local to Los Angeles County

Citizens and Green Card Holders

Communication skills must be a 9 out 10.

MUST HAVES:

  1. PMP certification
  2. Bachelors degree in a related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
  3. Preferred Masters degree in related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
  4. Preferred Experience using Revit Bluebeam or AutoCAD
  5. Preferred RCDD certification
  6. Minimum 10 years of experience in leading enterprisewide projects within a PMO.
  7. Minimum 8 years of experience in the IT construction and/or infrastructure domain in health care organizations/hospital or clinic builds leading multimillion dollars projects.
  8. Minimum 5 years experience in managing staff.
  9. Ability to plan organize motivate mentor direct and evaluate the work of others.
  10. Excellent project management skills to manage complex projects.
  11. Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  12. Experienced in managing project budgets OpEx and CapEx.
  13. Experienced in at least one PPM tool Service Now ITBM/ Clarity/ Planview etc.
  14. Advanced team building and facilitation skills.
  15. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word Excel PowerPoint Access) MS Project Smartsheet.
  16. Weekend and Afterhours work are needed on some weekends can flex weekday schedule to accommodate after After hours work

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Program Manager will be responsible for the overall scope budget schedule and master plans for capital improvement projects new clinic builds MOBs relocation efforts.
  2. Works closely with technical teams construction design and planning teams GCs and subject matter experts to assess document program scope describing the objectives physical and logical requirements and bridges the gap between technical teams and the business.
  3. Ability to translate technical specifications into detailed requirements.
  4. Through understanding of physical IT Infrastructure (low voltage cabling network infrastructure telecom LAN/WAN connectivity IT integration of medical equipment interfaces end users devices planning and deployment).
  5. Thorough understanding of the interdependencies between construction activities and different IT systems and solutions.
  6. Ability to identify the different stakeholders of the internal IT teams and engage them in timely manner during the design and implementation of construction projects (Hospital new MOBs and clinic builds)
  7. Ability to facilitate discussions and decision making with leadership teams and C Suite.
  8. Ability to understand discussions during OAC coordination meetings and identify the impact of other trades on IT infrastructure.
  9. Ability to coordinate with other trades during design and implementation of the IT infrastructure.
  10. Ability to manage multiple IT infrastructure projects during construction.
  11. Indepth understanding of contract documents related to infrastructure design and construction industry.
  12. Develops Project Charter gathers the scope and gets sign off from Stakeholders
  13. Develops detailed project organization charts & roles/responsibilities matrices.
  14. Creates the project budget does analysis on new projects manages project budgets including capital and operating expenses forecasts spend on a regular basis.
  15. Manages the process of equipment selection along with the SMEs contracts purchasing and installation.
  16. Builds project work breakdown structures & schedules.
  17. Manages project risks issues decisions action items dependencies and change requests.
  18. Maintains uptodate project documentation in the EPMO departmental repository and in Service Now.
  19. Adheres to the PMO defined processes methodologies and minimum required documentation.
  20. Performs meeting management communicates progress/status and health of the projects including managing the budgets and reporting on it.
  21. Utilizes departmental templates as intended and instructed.
  22. Serves as the primary liaison for assigned projects.
  23. Plans and manages work for staff assigned to the program (Project Managers Project Coordinators)
  24. Fosters positive relationships with project team members and stakeholders.
  25. Perform any other Program Manager duties as assigned by the supervisor in addition to the above as required by the EPMO department.
