Job Description

Business Development Manager


To 65000 Car Allowance 20% Bonus

Our client is a European backed successful and growing company who have in the past three years opened a UK operation and due to continued success are now seeking a highly capable business development manager who is good at opening doors into the utilities industry predominantly to the water supply wastewater industry for industrial montiroing products for UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Generate business leads and opportunities from new and existing customers

Build and manage an opportunity pipeline sufficient to meet objectives

Build strong working relationships with other industry stakeholders & influencers such as contractors and consultants

Make technical & commercial presentations tailored to individual customer needs

Conduct product demonstrations and initiate trials

Help plan and attend marketing events such as exhibitions lunch & learn

Preparation of detailed solution proposals tenders & quotations

Preferred Experience:

A track record of successful sales and business development delivery in a similar role

Knowledge of the water industry products & customer segments with particular focus on utility wastewater & water supply monitoring

Experience working with water utility and/or utility Tier 1 contractors industrial clients and distributors

Familiarity with and contacts within the water utility & industrial market segments

An ability to seek new business opportunities and build strong relationships with customers and/or partners
