Role:Business Analyst/Project Manager
Duration: 960 Hours ( Part time) 12 months contract
Location: Bethesda MD Remote
Public Trust Clearance will be needed.
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst/Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing various projects within the organization. This role involves analyzing business needs defining project requirements and ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
**Project Management:**
Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate and lead project meetings ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Monitor project progress identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
**Business Analysis:**
- Gather and document business requirements through interviews workshops and research.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop process models workflow diagrams and business cases to support project proposals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize project objectives and deliverables.
**Stakeholder Management:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project status updates and changes to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Facilitate decisionmaking processes and resolve conflicts as needed.
**Documentation and Reporting:**
- Prepare and present project reports including status updates risk assessments and postproject evaluations.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including requirements plans and change logs.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate uptodate and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager preferably in industry/sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project JIRA Trello).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- PMP CBAP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
