Job Description

Join Axpo Iberia as a QA Engineer and play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of our software solutions. In this dynamic role youll be instrumental in identifying and rectifying bugs before launch collaborating closely with developers and crossfunctional teams. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance we invite you to be part of our innovative journey in the energy sector.

What you will do:

  • Review and analyze change specifications to create comprehensive test plans.
  • Collaborate with Project and Product Managers Business Analysts to develop effective testing strategies.
  • Execute test cases (manual/automated) and analyze results.
  • Document testing phases and defects and define process KPIs.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct postrelease/postimplementation testing.
  • Automate regression testing and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and share best practices and knowledge.

What you bring & who you are:

  • Degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst/Tester or similar role.
  • Knowledge of project management QA methodology Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Proficiency in test management software and SQL.
  • Experience with automated test tools and Energy Trading applications (ETRMs) is highly advantageous.
  • Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills fluency in English and Spanish.
