About the Role: Actuarial Associate

Are you passionate about underwriting and risk analysis Our client is seeking an Actuarial Associate to join their Nairobi office. Reporting to the Head of Insurance Operations youll play a vital role in pricing projections compliance and underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop microunderwriting policies and underwriting journeys.

2. Own product pricing and drive communication within the team.

3. Identify risk areas and ensure compliance with regulators.

4. Generate and interpret reports for decisionmaking.

5. Optimize processes for policy administration and claims handling.

6. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

Advanced degree in Actuarial Science/Insurance or related field.

2 to 5 years of experience in Actuarial work.

Understanding of insurance operations and risk analysis.

Strong data analysis and communication skills.
