addressing reconciliation and payment processing inefficiencies across multiple industry verticals in the
technology sector and is looking to hire an experienced and motivated Lead Engineering Operations
professional to join our dynamic engineering team.
As the Lead Engineering Operations you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our engineering processes
managing crossfunctional collaborations and ensuring the overall efficiency of our engineering operations.
This is a leadership position that requires a strategic mindset strong project management skills and the ability
to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Summary of responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
Evaluate and enhance existing engineering processes to streamline workflows and improve overall
efficiency.
Implement best practices for project management release management and quality assurance
processes.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments including product management development and quality
assurance to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
Facilitate crossfunctional initiatives to address challenges and improve overall team productivity.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of engineering operations professionals.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture encouraging continuous learning and professional
development.
Project Management:
Oversee project timelines resource allocation and deliverables to ensure successful project
completion.
Implement and manage project management tools and methodologies.
Resource Planning:
Collaborate with engineering managers to assess resource needs and allocate resources effectively.
Assist in capacity planning and resource forecasting.
Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of highquality software
products.
Work closely with QA teams to identify and address quality issues.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in engineering operations and work proactively to mitigate them.
Develop and implement risk management strategies.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Conduct regular assessments of processes and workflows implementing improvements as needed.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor s degree in engineering Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience in engineering operations or a similar leadership role.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and inspire crossfunctional teams.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools
Has a first degree in Accounting or Finance or any other related field, Is a chartered accountant with an ACCA or ICAN. Has a strong technical accounting knowledge. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in all aspects of finance and accounting, Must have worked with an ERP System, finance, accounting, financial planning, IFRS, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Chart of Accounts Redesign, GL Coding, Intercompany Reconciliation, GL Accounting, financial analysis.
