The role:
- Manage the monthend and yearend close process including preparing
- and reviewing journal entries reconciliations and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations
- for improving financial performance.
- Lead the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
- Lead the day to day accounting tasks including payables receivables and
- general ledger.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline processes and
- improve efficiencies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and
- procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent certification
- preferred.
- 3 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles with at least 2
- years managing complex accounting tasks.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations mainly
- focusing on Swiss GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with
- Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret
- complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to
- collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Detailoriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet
- deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Commitment to integrity confidentiality and professionalism.
- Fluent German and English
