About this position

Your task
- Perform monthly quarterly and yearly closing activities in accordance with Swiss GAAP
- Ensure accurate timely and relevant recording reporting and analysis of financial information
- Prepare statutory financial statements in line with Swiss GAAP standards
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards rules and internal controls
- Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Manage relationships with client auditors and respond to audit requests
- Supervise and train junior team members and support them in regular activities such as vendor invoice processing bank account reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Assist with implementing new accounting policies standards and guidelines
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements
- Safeguard operations and maintain client confidentiality by protecting financial information
- Conduct variance analysis
- Lead client meetings and ensure ongoing communication
Your profile
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting finance or controlling ideally with exposure to international clients
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- IFRS knowledge is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel; recent experience with SAP (S4Hana) NetSuit or Workday is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French (German is a plus)
- Ability to present complex analyses clearly with strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to strict reporting deadlines
