Job Description

Our organization an esteemed provider of senior living services is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. Operating under the supervision of the Controller this role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of accounts payable contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
  • Reconciliation of accounts payable credit card transactions.
  • Maintenance of backup spreadsheets and vendor information.
  • Processing annual 1099 forms and vendor background checks.
  • Assistance in completing financial audits.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in accounts payable maintenance and account reconciliations.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
