Oversee process of updating changes affecting payroll on the system; for example, new hires, terminations, casual workers, promotions, etc.
Resolve payroll related issues and respond to inquiries.
Prepare and review payroll related reports submitted to Top management.
Manage payroll workflow and ensure all payroll transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Update and organize systems to manage payroll cycle.
Coordinate and cooperate with all human resources personnel in gathering data affecting monthly payroll payments; including deductions or additional amounts.
Communicate with the concerned head of departments for missing data or information required in issues related to payroll.
Ensure legal actions, affecting payroll amounts, are implemented and calculated properly.
Participate with Compensation and Benefits Manager in setting team annual objectives.
Assist in developing the department and implementing new systems if needed.
Manage and supervise the payroll team; in addition to assigning tasks to subordinates according to priorities.
Prepare and manage weekly work schedules of subordinates to meet deadlines.
